A trip designed for those wanting to get to know the two main cities in the Region, each one of them telling a completely different story: ancient in Cartagena’s case, medieval in Murcia’s. The bus picks you up by the port, firstly heading for the capital city of the Region for you to be dropped off by the old quarter to pay the first visit to its gorgeous-looking cathedral, then heading for the magnificent Casino, actually an exclusive membership club for the local elite. After this visit you will have some free time on your own, tour being resumed later on by getting on the bus again to ride back for Cartagena where you will be driven on top of the tallest of the hills which this ancient city was built over, to enjoy stunning views from that privileged point, including those of the Roman Theater remains. Tour will be ended with a stroll through the main street in town, to behold the magnificent late 19th-century Art-Nouveau town-houses built by local mining tycoons.
