By joining this tour, you will be provided with the most comprehensive overview of the city’s long history. After being picked up, you will first make a panoramic drive of the city, then heading for the site that tells everything about its real founders, Carthaginians, to behold the oldest archaeological remains in town, those of the Punic Wall. Later on you will be driven up to the tallest hill in the city to enjoy stunning views of the whole old quarter and harbor, on top of getting a full explanation of the main local sight, the Roman Theatre, actually carved by that same hill’s slope. Tour will be resumed driving down to the city center for you to stroll through the main street alongside gorgeous-looking town houses built during the late 19th century local Mining Heyday. After enjoying some free time by the shopping area, you will be finally driven back to the ship.
